Marketing Intern — Consumer Robotics
No experience required. We do not care where you went to school, where you've worked, or whether you've had a marketing job before. We care about what you've made.
You'll work directly with the founders on everything Rhem puts into the world.
This is a hands-on creative role. One week you might be filming our robot in a real home. The next you might be editing TikToks, coming up with a launch stunt, shooting product photos, working with creators, or testing a completely ridiculous idea that somehow gets 2 million views.
You do not need a polished resume. You do not need agency experience. You do not need to have worked at a startup.
If you've spent your own time making videos, growing an account, shooting photos, designing things, building weird internet projects, or creating anything people actually paid attention to, we want to see it.
We will judge applicants almost entirely on the work they've already put into the world.
What you'll do
- Shoot and edit short-form videos featuring Rhem and our robots.
- Help create content for TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, and other platforms.
- Come up with creative concepts, launch ideas, stunts, and experiments that get people talking.
- Help film product demos, customer stories, behind-the-scenes footage, and launch content.
- Work with creators and influencers on UGC and collaborations.
- Help with product photography, ads, press assets, and whatever else we're shipping that week.
- Take ideas from "this could be cool" to something published on the internet.
What we're looking for
- You make things without being asked.
- You have work you can show us.
- You have good taste and strong opinions about what is interesting, boring, cool, cringe, or worth sharing.
- You're comfortable learning things you don't already know.
- You're willing to pick up a camera, open an editing program, write a script, DM a creator, or figure out a new tool yourself.
- You care more about making something great than having a perfectly defined job description.
- Again: no professional experience is required.
- We would rather hire someone who has made 50 weird videos from their bedroom than someone with three marketing internships and nothing interesting to show for them.
Nice to have
None of these are required.
- You've made videos that got significant organic reach.
- You've grown a social media account, newsletter, community, or other audience.
- You know Premiere, Resolve, Final Cut, CapCut, Photoshop, Figma, or similar creative tools.
- You've experimented heavily with AI creative tools.
- You've made films, memes, ads, photography, music videos, internet projects, or other creative work.
- You're obsessed with consumer brands, robotics, hardware, internet culture, or storytelling.
What we offer
- Work directly with the founders of an early-stage consumer robotics company.
- A huge amount of creative freedom and responsibility.
- Real work that gets published, not intern busywork.
- Access to robots, cameras, production equipment, creators, and whatever tools we need to make good things.
- The chance to build a portfolio around the launch of a completely new consumer product.
- A path to a larger role if you're exceptional.
