Pricing
How much does Rhem cost?
Rhem's full retail price (MSRP) will be $1,099. As a thank-you to early supporters, we're offering it for less during the campaign:
- $599 — Pre-Kickstarter reservation price, locked in with a fully refundable $1 deposit (credited toward your final pledge)
- $799 — Kickstarter campaign price once we launch
- $1,099 — Standard retail price after the campaign ends
The earlier you back, the more you save. The $1 deposit is the only way to secure the $599 price.
How does the $1 deposit work?
The $1 deposit reserves your spot at the lowest price we'll ever offer Rhem. It's fully refundable and is credited toward your $599 total — so you're not paying extra, just locking in the discount. If you change your mind for any reason before the campaign ends, you get the $1 back, no questions asked.
Why is Rhem cheaper now than it will be later?
Early backers take a chance on us before Rhem is on shelves, and we reward that. Backer pricing reflects real savings for the people who help us reach our first production run — not a temporary sale we'll repeat. Once we move to retail, Rhem will be priced at its full $1,099 MSRP.

Why are you launching on Kickstarter instead of just selling it?
Kickstarter lets us bring Rhem to life with the people it's actually built for. Launching here does three things: it funds our first production run so we can manufacture at quality, it proves there's real demand for a private, offline healthcare companion, and it lets us build Rhem alongside a community that shapes the product with their feedback. It also means early supporters get Rhem at a price we'll never offer again.
Is my money safe if the campaign doesn't fund?
Yes. Kickstarter is all-or-nothing: if we don't reach our funding goal, no one is charged and every reservation deposit is returned. You only pay if the project is funded and moving into production.
Shipping
When will Rhem ship?
We expect to begin shipping in early November. We'll keep every backer updated throughout production, and if anything affects the timeline, you'll hear it from us first.
Where do you ship?
We ship internationally. Rhem is launching in North America first, with European and other regions following — your confirmation and pledge manager will show availability for your location.
Is shipping included in the price?
No — shipping is calculated and charged separately from your pledge. After the campaign, you'll confirm your address in our pledge manager and shipping will be added based on your destination.
Will I have to pay customs or import fees?
For international orders, any customs duties, taxes, or import fees required by your country are the backer's responsibility and are not included in the product or shipping price. These vary by region — we recommend checking your local import rules.
Returns & Guarantee
What's your return policy?
We stand behind Rhem with a 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee. Once your Rhem arrives, you have 30 days to make sure it's right for your home. If it isn't, contact us for a return authorization and send it back in its original condition and packaging for a full refund, minus return shipping.
Can I cancel before Rhem ships?
Yes. Before fulfillment, you can cancel your pledge and receive a full refund at any time through Kickstarter — you aren't charged until the campaign successfully ends, and your reservation deposit is always refundable up to that point.
What if my Rhem arrives damaged or defective?
If your Rhem arrives damaged or doesn't work as intended, contact us right away and we'll make it right with a replacement or repair at no cost to you. Manufacturing defects are always on us.
